Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, located at Bentley campus in Western Australia, offers research and teaching programs in the disciplines of computer technology, computer systems engineering, electrical engineering, and electronic and communication engineering.

Curtin University of Technology history extends to the beginning of 1900. Continuing the tertiary programs formerly conducted in the Perth Technical College, the Western Australia Institute of Technology (WAIT) was established in 1966, located on a specially chosen site six kilometres south of the city of Perth. In January 1987, WAIT became Curtin University of Technology.

Courses currently offered by the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering include undergraduate degree, honours degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma, masters (by course work and research) and PhD.
