Unit Outlines

Semester 1 Unit Outlines:

Note that students will be provided with a hard copy of the unit outline at the first lecture of the unit. Students should use that as the definitive unit outline because in a small number of cases some minor changes may occur due to circumstances beyond the School's control.

Semester 2 Unit Outlines:

These unit outlines are strongly indicative of the unit content, delivery and assessment pattern that will be adopted for Semester 2 units. Final versions will be posted two weeks prior to the start of Semester 2. You are encouraged to use these unit outlines and those of subsequent years of your program to apprise and prepare yourselves for the continued progress of your degree studies.

Chemical Engineering

Chemical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the application of physical science (e.g. chemistry and physics), with mathematics, to the process of converting raw materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms.
